1931 ~ First started in Riverbank, California as a local grocery store.
1959 ~ Originally Bordona's was then established as a small television
and appliance store in Oakdale, California. It became a furniture store at
its present site when Bob and Phyllis Bordona purchased it in 1971 after
college.
2000 ~ With the main store refurbished, Bordona's Bargain Outlet came to
occupy a separate building when Bob and Phyllis' son and grandson of
Mike, Ron Bordona had returned from college.
Currently ~ The downtown main furniture store employs 15 people.

Julian, Jr., opened the doors to their dreams of a family-owned and operated business.
