| Bordona's Oakdale Home Furnishings is a family business, which was first started in Riverbank, California, in 1931. In Oakdale Bordona's was originally established as a small television and appliance store in 1959. It became a furniture store at its present site when Bob and Phyllis Bordona purchased it in 1971 after college. Bordona's Bargain Outlet came to occupy a separate building when their son, Ron, returned from college. Refurbished in 2000, the downtown main furniture store employs 15 people. Bordona's provides a "hometown atmosphere" with noncommissioned sales and staff and caring personalized service. Bordona's strive to remain a leader in the independent, family-owned, home furnishings industry by continuing to exceed our customers expectations and by providing the highest quality of service, value and products like Mike Bordona has done since 1931. |
